LED Behavior

The front LED indicates drive status and activity.

Technical note: Even if you have turned off the front LED using the Dashboard administration tool (Dashboard - Eco Management), events triggering a red light will always cause it to turn on.

Network Space 2

Front LED Color	State
Off	The device is: turned off/in Deep Sleep Mode or the Status light has been disabled in the Dashboard administration tool (Dashboard - Eco Management)
Blue: Fast blinking	Occurs as the device is booting and will cease once the drives are fully initialized
Blue: Static	Device is ready
Blue: Flickering	Drive working (read/write)
Red: Blinking	Device alert (i.e. temperature warning)
Red: Static	Temperature alert (critical level) – the device will shut off
Red/Blue: Blinking	Automatic backup in progress

Network Space MAX

Front LED Color	State
Off	The device is: turned off/in Deep Sleep Mode or the Status light has been disabled in the Dashboard administration tool (Dashboard - Eco Management)
Blue: Fast blinking	Occurs as the device is booting; will cease once the drives are fully initialized
Blue: Static	Device is ready
Blue: Flickering	Drive working (read/write) or RAID is building/recovering
Red: Blinking	Device alert (i.e. temperature warning) or RAID is degraded
Red: Static	Temperature alert (critical level – the product will shut off) or RAID is broken
Red/Blue: Blinking	Automatic backup in progress
